Work Career

At Pezy Group (since 2020), I have worked on many diverse projects for equally diverse clients, ranging from startups to multinationals. To give an idea of the (confidential) projects I worked on:

Confidential projects

A ‘waiting instrument’ for deafblind + mentally disabled people, a cardiovascular measurement wearable, usability testing for a consumer draught keg, a replaceable suitcase zipper, a foldable wheel for air travel, an underwater interactive game for swimming lessons, and much more. I also lead the creation of an electronics prototyping platform for Pezy Group, to accelerate prototyping speed & efficiency.

EV Charger

Client: Victron Energy

A complete redesign of the previous EV Charging Station of Victron Energy. An EV charger specifically designed for the home market, to complement their off-grid energy solutions. Developed from just the electronic architecture to complete mechanical design, ready for mass-manufacturing.

UV-C Disinfection Robot

Client: Loop Robots

Next-gen concept design for an autonomous UV-C disinfection robot. A modular design that also enables interchangeable functionality between UV-C disinfection & security surveillance.

Electronics Prototyping Platform

Example highlight:
Platform demo project: a smart radiator knob, to showcase the developed modules of electronics (firmware & hardware) and Bluetooth connected app to send & receive data.

The Music Room

Personal Project

A music entertainment service at the airport to pass time while waiting for departure. The Music Room offers (solo) travellers a comfortable & interesting way to listen to and discover new music, as well as enjoy the comfort of waiting together with someone else, although on the other side of the world.

Educational Mini Game

Client: VodafoneZiggo

In a subtle and playful way, this short game makes players aware of the urgency to begin investing in solutions for the challenges that are facing VodafoneZiggo’s network.

Privacy Talks

Client: Municipality of Amsterdam

A multi-platform campaign that confronts citizens with privacy dilemmas, to get people to voice their opinions in (public) debates with the municipality and amongst each other, to work towards a better (future) digital city together, on a long term scale.

Smart Plant for Employee Vitality

Client: (Royal) Ahrend

A research project to discover how design & technology could stimulate users of sit-standing-desks to maintain a non-sedentary (healthier) workstyle. A ‘smart plant’ that goes limp when users sit too long or move too little, as a nudge to switch to standing position.
